Cub Scouts will sell lemonade during Hampstead Day at St. John’s Church across from Jiffy Mart. Each den will be assigned times to work this fun pack fundraiser.

Pack 791 joins other Baltimore area Cub and Boy Scout troops in honoring veterans. They help place flags throughout the cemetery and participate in a short ceremony afterwards.

Pack 791 holds Bridging ceremony at Lions’ Park. Dinner begins at 6:30, bridging at 7:15pm The pack provides burgers and hot dogs; each den will bring the following:

Deb’s Den – Desserts
Janette’s Den – Chips, Dips, Pretzels
Bridget’s Den – Side Dishes
Tiger’s – Desserts

On Sunday, March 11^th, 2012, we will celebrate the annual birthday of Cub Scouting. We will also be honoring the Webelo II’s who will be bridging over into Boy Scouts.

We invite each Scout and their families to join us in this celebration! Blue and Gold will be held on Sunday, March 11th from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Portico at St John’s Catholic Church (43 Monroe St Westminster, MD 21157).

Welcome Home Troops

Activity Details:

On November 22nd Pack 791 has the opportunity to welcome home members of the Armed Forces that have been serving our country abroad. The flight arrives at 7:30pm, at BWI airport, in the International Terminal (Pier E). Scouts and their families will need to arrive at Pier E 5:15pm (parking is available in the hourly garage) to help decorate the terminal and fill goody bags for the troops.

What to bring for the Goody Bags:

· Pre Packaged Snacks (examples: cookies, crackers, chips, granola bars)

· 16 ounce bottles for water

What to Wear:

· Class A Uniforms

Klondike 2012

Attached is the Pack 791 permission form for Klondike 2012. We must have a completed form for each Scout participating in the event. Note there are spaces in the top part of the form to indicate number of adults joining the Scout – but only one Scout per form please.

Please collect your Den’s completed forms and checks (made out to Pack 791–see prices on the form) and plan to deliver to Michael Geiman at the November 18 Pack meeting. We need to turn in forms and money to District shortly after.

Trunk or Treating

Muhaha,

It is time for one of the most beloved events in Pack791! We are looking this year to help making the event even more action packed by forming the first ever, Trunk or Treat Candy Gauntlet*.

How it works:

Parking: We sectioned off the parking lot to form a single column, with cars, parked trunkwards in. Dens are highly encouraged to park together. Please arrive a few minutes earlier than normal so we can get everyone in. We may have to change the location based on some construction work being done. We will make the adjustment on Friday.

Parking Goblins will be assigned to help you park your car.

Spooky Trunks: Trunks and or parents are highly encouraged to decorate their cars. Scary music, scary sounds, and good candy are a must. Parents dressing up is certainly welcome too. :- )

Staggered Starts: Starting with the youngest scouts, we will release the scouts by den to keep the flow of scouts somewhat smooth.

Scout Flow: Ideally, we will be able to move in a clockwise motion, but we will see if that happens.

*Please don’t worry, this will be much more fun than a real gauntlet.

Roller Skating at Sportsman Hall

Roller skating with Scouts will take place this Thursday, September 29, 2011. The kids do not have school that day. The Pack will pay for all Scouts. This is a Free Event. All others can enjoy the Thrifty Thursday savings. We will meet at the entrance to Sportmans Hall at 6:30PM.

DATE: September 29, 2011

PLACE: Sportmans Hall (Route 30)

TIME: 6:30-8:30PM

Cost for others: $5:50 entrance and $3.00 skate rental (Thrifty Thursday pricing)

COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!!!

Winter Camping at Tucahoe

Winter Jam Fest at Camp Tucahoe in Dillsburg PA.

January 20 through 22nd.

Open to all cubscouts and Webelos.

Cost is $49 per person.

Includes breakfast, lunch, dinner,and snacks for entire weekend.

All activities are planned and included.

Heated cabins.

Deadline is September 30 pack mtg.

Every scout must have a parent with him.
